Lake Chapala

Our latest fishing report comes from Armand who had a spectacular day! Armand took fishing guide Luis Calderon and caught an amazing 35 bass!!  Here is his report:

"Good long day on lake Chapala. He had lunch and drinks for me. Very good guide. $1675 for 1 person.

Mostly flipping in weeds with plastic worms and casting with spinnerbaits."

Aqua Milpa: 

Recent reports say that the fishing has been poor. Try 3"-3 1/2" crankbaits for larger fish.

Barra de Navidad:

Twelve intrepid anglers headed out for a fishing/golfing trip Feb 20-23. Fishing was very poor with 2 days fishing only yielding a couple bonito. Apparently the golf was better.
